Leave It At the Shoreline.

Take
every worry,
all your fear, guilt
and regret, all
the consuming rage:
let it go.

Leave your baggage
at the door, at
the shoreline
of this infinitesimal speck.

Move away
backwards
at a steady pace.

Observe.

A house, a land mass,
a globe, a marble.
Just another island
in a dark sea,
twinkling, teeming.

Now a spiral
amongst
many luminous gatherings,
bound in a vast
webwork of filaments.

Watch now
as it all shrinks
to utter insignificance.

Silence and free fall.
Unimaginable distance.

Peace at last,
here and now, just
saturating
the infinite beauty.
