The Argus Walkabout.

Believe in an idea,
walk around awhile.
Test out the suggestion.
Look through its tinted glass,
one stop along the spectrum.

Believe out,
into a headspace walkabout
to explore a vast
landscape of alternatives.

Paths of madness
to find the answer,
ever-elusive.

So many eyes
through which to see
the world,
an embarrassment of riches:
all different, some utterly useless,
others demonstrably better than others,
relative to objective:

for greater understanding
or to use illusions
to transmit and transform,
be the intent to help
or harm the target.

I must see what truly is,
come to understand this,
keep building inner strength
so I can grow by facing it squarely
from a hundred different
directions, all at once.
