Terminus Psyche (Forever, As Always).

Maybe we all
have dissociative fugues.
We all drift
to some other place
without knowing

where we came from,
who we are, how
we came to be

and why we chose
here of all
places: that is our inevitable

fate at the completion
of every
death-rebirth cycle.

We are forced to adopt
a new personality,
build new relationships,

begin a new life
without any sense
of how we got
to be here

or why we came
or if, in the end,
it was indeed

our free choice
to come
here after all.
Still:
We build
on what we can

salvage. We
be who we can be.
Forever. As
always.
